Prince Edward Island Business Economic Council

The Prince Edward Business Economic Council is an Island wide partnership formed with the Chamber network to foster one voice for economic prosperity and sustainability. We are powered by business community leaders with a long-term vision that improves the quality of life for Islanders.

We are a new council, but we are experienced and committed to Prince Edward Island. Founded by community business leaders with a laser focus on a prosperous Prince Edward Island for all. This team initiative is aimed at fostering a new mindset for generations of Islanders who choose to live and work on Prince Edward Island. Together, we focus on driving economic prosperity for a thriving environment that helps guide effective long term effective economic policy supported by the extensive business leadership and network of Chambers from ‘tip to tip’ fueled by a passion for our home. The ability to leverage local community business leaders from a wide variety of backgrounds with a purpose driven vision for PEI will be unmatched by any other organization on the Island.

We are non-partisan and funded 100 percent by business. We leverage local resources and seek them out in all areas of our work. We believe in enhancing community engagement and promoting community business-friendly practices that drive our economic prosperity to help Islanders succeed. The project's goals include boosting the local economy, supporting job opportunities, and improving the overall quality of life for residents. By collaborating with various stakeholders, led by local businesses and including educational institutions and stakeholders focused on long term prosperity for Prince Edward Island. We foster a positive future generations of Islanders.
